Update news of Mitsubishi’s brand new rear-projection-ish laser-based TV tech, LaserVue, back at CES, but now the sets are just about primed for action, and should be hitting store shelves, as previously noted, Q3 2008. It will comes in 65-inch and 73-inch, with the 65-inch version hitting the scene first.
What’s still not distinct yet is about what exactly makes the technology tick — other than the “zomg, lasers” aspect — but is quick to point out the 200 percent color gamut that LaserVue provides, more than twice that of most traditional HDTVs. The Pantech unveils their new excellent 9.9mm TV IM-S230 technology. The Pantech TV IM-S230 is only 3.9 millimetre thick, but this new gadget has a 2.2 inches screen display, BMD TV digital tuner, 1.3 Megapixel digital camera and MP3 player. No word for price and availability yet.
